This is the Keynote Jeopardy Template which is the perfect way to emulate and present your very own Jeopardy Game! We’ve designed this template to be easy to add your own categories and questions, then simply connect to a TV or projector and you can play this fun quiz trivia game with your audience. Or if you want it to be more personal we’ve included an iPad version as well. Take it to a conference, or a family gathering and you’ll be the hit of the event!
The Jeopardy Keynote is beautifully designed, and has some great enhancement features such as links. For example, as you are presenting, when someone chooses a category for (say) 200, you simply click on the 200 category box and it will jump you right to the question with great animations. Then when you are ready to go back to the main category board, just click the convenient “home” icon on the page and it will send you back to the main board. To make things easy, we also included the answer to be on the same question screen, so everyone in your audience can easily and clearly see the answer to the question when you are ready. Just click to jump to the question, click again to animate in the question, then click again to reveal the answer, then hit the home button to return back and start again for the next question. We even included a “Final Jeopardy” slide at the end. Just click the last category to go there.
If you are a teacher, an instructor, trainer, or just want to have a fun trivia game night with family or friends, then this jeopardy template is definitely for you.
We hope you love this template.

Steve –
This template is awesome!!! I used this template with a class I taught and projected it onto a white board then just used the dry-erase marker to cross out questions we’d already done. Worked great!

Thanks Steve! We always love when customers give great feedback!

I just bought and downloaded the template. I can’t even open it in Keynote on my ipad. Not too impressed.
MacTemplates –
Hi Mark,
You must have missed the video on this page that shows how to open this template on your iPad (it’s the last video in the description). Here’s the direct video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIiGxwVt6qc . Let me know that you got it up and working OK. Thanks!

Byron –
I am tempted to buy this … a couple of questions … 1) once you click on a category and then return to the home screen, can you tell that the question has already been used? and 2) can you add sound effects like the real game? Thanks …
MacTemplates –
Hi Byron,
1) Unfortunately it isn’t. That would make for a crazy template trying to create every possible combination of answered vs unanswered questions, but some customers project this onto a White Board, then cross off the answers they’ve done with a dry erase marker.
2) Yes, you could definitely add sound effects to this. Sound is pretty easy to add with Keynote as well as time it with other objects.
Hope that helps. Thanks Byron.

Purchased this to use with large group of elementary students as a fun but educational last-day-classes activity covering a special science unit. They will love it, I’m sure! For some reason, my last category question font was different from all of the others (smaller type and u/l case), but perhaps I did something to make that happen! ALSO would like to know if I’ve missed an obvious way to go from the main game board to the “Final Jeopardy” question without having to return to the set-up and “play” the FJ panels.
MacTemplates –
Hi Sally, thanks for the comment. I hope it goes well with your elementary class. For the font, I’m not sure what happened to the fonts on your template, but you could always re-download it from your “My Account” page on the site and see if the fonts are showing correctly then. The question and answers fonts should be “Futura”. As for the Final Jeopardy, we’ve setup for you to click on the title “Category 6” and that is linked to the final jeopardy slide. Hope that helps. If you have further questions, please contact us through our support link at the top of the site. Thanks Sally, hope you have a great game.
Fernando –
I want to download it, but first I’d like to know if it’s compatible with a buzzer, and if it has buzz blocking function? Thanks b
MacTemplates –
Hi Fernando, That would be cool! But Keynote doesn’t integrate with Buzzers, so unfortunately our template won’t have that functionality built in. Many others have found other ways to do the buzzer type functionality separate from the Keynote though. I’m sure you could think of something. :-)
luis –
is it compatible with wireless buzzers?
MacTemplates –
Hi Luis, I just responded to another customer on that topic. Keynote doesn’t integrate with Buzzers, so unfortunately our template won’t have that functionality built in. Many others have found other ways to do the buzzer type functionality separate from the Keynote though. Our template just provides the actual Keynote Game to present.

I haven’t played this yet, but why not add a pdf to the file that includes a B&W print out of the board and a place to keep tally of the points, so participants can mark off the finished questions on the sheet and total their individual or team scores? I’ll post a review later. :-)
MacTemplates –
Hi Cynthia, that would be a great idea. You can alway do a print or PDF of any slide in keynote, so we leave this up to user to do if they’d like.

I am loving the template, I downloaded it for an on-lilne class I teach, however, I usually email it to the IT department to upload and they are not on a MAC, therefore, how do I email keynote to have them upload it on the windows version to use in class? Help please :)
Loreen
MacTemplates –
Hi Loreen, we’ve been helping you via email since you used our support link instead and have helped with this matter. Good luck with your class. For those reading this, we helped her export the template in Keynote as a PowerPoint file and they sent that to their Windows IT people. This template is designed to be used with Keynote on the Mac and iPad, so for others that need it on Windows, we’d suggest purchasing our PowerPoint version instead. But Keynote does have a PowerPoint export option if you need it. Thanks Loreen! Glad your loving the template!

Was thrilled with the look and design of the template until I used it in a real-life scenario. The fact that a used question does not gray out or disappear makes the board pretty much unusable. Made for a very awkward game in front of several co-workers. Avoid using this as an option.
MacTemplates –
Hi Josh, thanks for feedback. The functionality to gray out or disappear is a limitation of Keynote, not our template. I wish we could do that with Keynote, but we are limited by the software unfortunately. What some people have done which has worked great is to project the game onto a white board, then just cross them out with the white board, others just have someone keep track of what has been asked, etc. There are plenty of ways to make it very usable and is the best designed Keynote Jeopardy game out there. The minute Apple makes keynote have the ability to do the gray out effect we will add it to our template. Thanks again for the feedback.
Jay –
I would also like to buy this product. Has this graying out feature been added to Keynote? If not, have you found another way to get around this problem?
MacTemplates –
Hi Jay, unfortunately it hasn’t yet. Not because lack of our template, but because Keynote just doesn’t have this functionality. But as mentioned with some other comments many just print out the main board and keep track, some have projected onto a white board and crossed off as they went, etc. Thanks for reaching out.
Lazarus –
This looks really great and I am about to buy it but it seems that after you click and go to a question nothing changes on the home screen – they should disappear so that players can keep track of which categories are still available. Imagine you played almost all – how is anyone to remember which one’s haven’t been played yet!
Is this possible to do somehow? I can’t tell.
MacTemplates –

hi can i add more categories?
MacTemplates –
Hi Farishta.lila, If you’ve got some Keynote chops you can certainly customize this template to have more categories, however it is designed to work with the 6 categories.
