How to Install a Pages Template:
A Pages template can be used after downloading by simply double clicking on it. It will then launch in Pages as a template file. Meaning you can’t actual save that file, you save it as a new full pages document. That way you never overwrite your template file keeping your template clean and ready to be used again and again.
If you want your Pages template to show up in the pages template browser when Pages first launches then you need to put the template file in this location: …Home Folder/Library/Application Support/iWork/Pages/Templates/My Templates/ When put here is will show up each time you launch Pages in the template browser.
How to Install a Numbers Template:
A Numbers template can be used after downloading by simply double clicking on it. It will then launch in Numbers as a template file. Meaning you can’t actual save that file, you save it as a new full Numbers document. That way you never overwrite your template file keeping your template clean and ready to be used again and again.

How to Install a Apple Mail Template:
Most of our Apple Mail Templates can be used by just double-clicking the template file after unzipping the .zip file which will then ask you if you want to install this in Apple Mail, you click OK, and then it is now installed in the Apple Mail Stationary Templates to be used at any time. That’s it. Some of our older Apple Mail Templates need to be installed manually by placing the template folder in a deeply nested location on your Mac. That location is: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Apple/Mail/Stationary/Apple/Contents/Resources/Announcements/Contents/Resources/Drop Here
We know it’s a bit deep, but our template file comes with detailed instructions, a video, and screenshots, to help you make sure that you get it installed in the right location. Contact us if you have any problems.
How to Install a PDF Template:
There is really nothing to install with a PDF Template. Usually PDFs are “as is” and there is not editing them (unless you have special fancy software). Our PDF Templates are for those that simply want to print the template only. So after you download it just create a special place on your hard drive. We recommend creating a folder in your documents folder called “PDF Templates” and putting all your PDF templates in there.
My Template File Doesn't Work
There may be times that you downloaded your template file and it doesn’t work. Here are a couple reasons why and some troubleshooting tips:
- The .zip file won’t unzip – For this we recommend trying a different way to unzip your file. Try downloading Stuffit Expander or The Unarchiver and opening the .zip file with that. If it still doesn’t work contact us in the form below.
- You got a message saying the file is corrupt – If this happens please contact us in the contact form below and we will email you a new file and update our download file for future downloaders.
- It won’t open up with your Software – Sometimes people try and open up template files with the wrong application. For example, people open up a Pages Template with Microsoft Word. Be sure to watch closely which application your template file is for. If you have questions about which one it is look at the “Read Me” file that came with your template.
